Increasing Awareness of Higher Degree Opportunities


Impacted by the nationwide trend in decreasing transfer rates during the pandemic, institutions across greater Dallas sought new approaches to communicate the benefits of transferring from a 2-year college to a 4-year university. Dallas College, with Texas A&M University-Commerce, Texas Woman’s University and University of North Texas at Dallas, commissioned NVision to conduct a marketing campaign to potential transfer students.


Using the umbrella theme of On My Way, NVision developed a unified campaign to market the benefits of being a transfer student, while generating a pool of highly qualified leads for local 4-year universities. Focal points were the OMW Transfer website, where students could explore universities, financial aid, and critical deadlines and resources; this was followed by a series of online events for students to learn about transfer opportunities and network with university representatives. To drive and support these efforts, strategic communications outreach included email, text marketing and social media, driven by NVision in coordination with the four partnering institutions. Since 2021, NVision has continued to work with several of these institutions, leveraging our enhanced virtual event platform to promote enrollment, as well as transfer opportunities for students across the Dallas metroplex.
